This year, the planning committee is organizing Celebration of Nations 2020 – Reinvented. The virtual festival will feature participants spanning the globe and activities for all ages. The parade hosts flags representing more than 80 nations, floats, marching bands, animals and more. The parade route starts on the Missouri S&T campus and continues through downtown Rolla before ending at the festival site near the Rolla Band Shell.
We would love to have you participate in the Parade of Nations! You can carry a flag from countries around the world or put together an internationally themed float with your favorite club or organization.
All parade entries must have an international theme or demonstrate traditional representations of culture. Concepts can include music, fashion, dance, sports, or any other idea that promotes the theme of Celebration of Nations, “One campus, One community, One world.”
Each parade entry will be judged by a panel of distinguished members of the Missouri S&T and Rolla community. The panel will evaluate parade entries using the judging criteria in each of the five categories below:
