Rules and requirements:
By entering the Video, you declare that you meet the eligibility requirements stated in the rules of the competition, and that you grant to The Curators of the University of Missouri (“University”) the irrevocable non-exclusive right to use, re-use, publish, republish, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and create derivative works of the Photos, in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other copyrighted material, in any medium now in existence or arising in the future, including, but not limited to the Internet, print, video and audio recordings, for all University purposes, including but not limited to use on the University’s website and for promotional, educational and historical record purposes concerning the competition.
You hereby release and discharge the University from any and all claims, liability, and demands arising out of or in connection with the University’s exercise of the rights granted herein, including, but not limited to, any claims for defamation or invasion of privacy. Without limiting the foregoing, you understand that the University cannot warrant or guarantee that, upon placement of the Video on the Internet or in other media, any further dissemination of the Video will be subject to University supervision or control and thus release the University from any and all liability related to further dissemination of the Video.
You represent and warrant that (i) you have the full right, power, and authority to grant the rights granted herein, (ii) that the exercise of such licensed rights in the Videos by the University shall not infringe or violate any copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, rights of privacy, or any other third party rights, and (iii) you have obtained written releases and permissions from all individuals appearing or referenced in the Video relating to the such individual’s name, image, and likeness.
