Celebration of Nations invites event sponsors, local businesses, student organizations, parade participants, and community partners to be part of a special livestream experience, “Around the World with Rachel Kohman.”
Broadcast live on YouTube and Facebook, this segment captures the energy, traditions, and stories that make Celebration of Nations one of the region’s most vibrant cultural celebrations. Throughout the parade and festival, viewers from across the community and beyond will have the opportunity to experience the event through live conversations with the people who help bring it to life.
For the past four years, the livestream interviews have been hosted by Rachel Kohman, Assistant Dean of Entrepreneurship Education at Missouri S&T. Known across campus for her enthusiasm, thoughtful leadership, and dedication to student innovation, Rachel brings a natural curiosity and warmth to every conversation. Her background in entrepreneurship and storytelling allows her to highlight the creativity, culture, and passion behind each organization, performance, and business featured during the festival. Through these interviews, Rachel helps audiences discover the inspiring stories that connect cultures and communities.
Organizations interested in participating are invited to complete the Livestream Interest Form below. This allows Rachel to prepare thoughtful questions in advance and ensure each conversation highlights what makes your group unique.
Participants may choose to share their cultural background or inspiration, what their organization or business will be showcasing, how they honor global traditions, fun facts about their group, special performances or menu items, and how Celebration of Nations connects to their mission.
Local businesses are also encouraged to briefly introduce their services or products and share how they are supporting or celebrating this year’s theme. These interviews offer a wonderful opportunity to highlight your organization while celebrating the cultures, connections, and community spirit that make Celebration of Nations such a meaningful event.
